Last Friday night I went to the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, why you may ask? BECAUSE I WENT TO SEE KATY PERRY.
We ordered the tickets in early December & I made a countdown in my school planner. 'We' you may ask, me and my best friend Emmie. The days went down 150, 50, 15, 5 etc until we it reached 0 as it was the 23rd of May, the day I went to see my Queen Katy Perry.
I had loved Katy Perry for years & when I heard she was doing her PRISMATIC TOUR I thought I have got to go. I had also never been to a concert before & due to it being weeks away from Christmas I thought 'now is my chance'.
And I must say I was not disappointed it was one of the best days of my life. She was just so amazing I loved her PRISM album & knew all the words. The reality that we were about to see Katy Perry only really sunk in when the lights went out a few minutes after 9:00pm on the 23rd of May in the arena & I knew 'WOW I am going to see Katy Perry'.
She made her entrance by coming out a huge triangle/prism which closed then reopened to Katy Perry stood inside As soon as I saw her I started unexpectedly crying (this is the video I took of her amazing entrance -------------------------------->) All of her songs were great, she sounded great, looked great, she provided amazing background graphics and got all the audience involved especially where I was sat (in standing area near front) as she had confetti cannons in birthday and blow up emojis etc. She wore the most beautiful costumes and did the most wackiest things like sitting on a seat with balloons attached as it lifted her into the air as it flew over the audience in her song 'Birthday.' For instance in 'Hot N Cold' she did it as a musical where she dressed up in a catsuit with her fellow dancers and had huge cat poles and tunnels as she slowed the song down and had on background 'Katy Perry as Kitty Kat presents Hot N Cold.' Even my friend Emmie came out saying it was the best concert she has been too even though she had seen JLS numerous times as she loved them to bits.

The Prism closing.
Overall I loved it, it was my first and best concert & I got to see my favourite ever person & will continue to see her future tours and any UK accessible events.
Icona Pop were her special
starting guests.
Her stage background
which had amazing videos
and graphics on.
