Miranda Sings

For my first Youtube blog I will be talking about Miranda Sings.

Miranda Sings is my (& lots of peoples) favourite Youtuber EVER
Due to her amazing acting & her comedic voice. Miranda is a Youtuber who is actually called "Colleen" but Miranda is her own fictional character. Colleen is a vocal coach & is a professional singer, she even coaches Ariana Grande, Miranda's normal look usually consists of:
  • Two clips either side of her parting

  • And she uses a really childish voice

  • Bright red lipstick that is put all over her lips and on the skin around her mouth to make her lips look bigger.

I like Miranda because she is that funny that I almost wee at all her vidoes. Most her videos are made up of covers, challenges with fellow Youtubers or just random videos. The thing that makes her so good is her acting as she never starts laughing which I would find impossible. I guarantee all you people who like watching Youtube channels will like her. She posts every week & has 1,326,987 subscribers. I would also recommend subscribing to Colleen on her channel "Psycho Soprano."

Her Trademark...

I would say Miranda's trademark is her lipstick as it is the thing everybody remember about her and the first time you watch her its the first thing you notice. I think it works for her as she has a quirky personality. Though she does get a few dares to wipe her lipstick off but she refuses.

Overall I recommend subscribing to MirandaSings & PsychoSoprano as I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Review | Frozen

Frozen has gripped the nation with its Disney name & fantastic songs.

As soon as I saw the trailer I was WOWed! However I did not see the film until last week as my dearest friend Sylvia lent it to me for the weekend as I begged for days and days to borrow & I ended up watching it six timesover four days & I was heartbroken to give it back to her.

I now know this film as one of 'My Favourite Films Ever' & I will definitely be buying my own DVD to watch over and over again. If you have not watched it, I recommend watching it.

Once upon a time....

Elsa was born with powers that allow her to freeze things, make it snow, anything to do with winter really. But when her powers cause Ana (her little sister) to have an accident it means then that Ana along with everyone except Elsa and her parents must not know about her power. However when Ana & Elsa parents have a tragic accident, Elsa is made Queen of Aryendale, but after a fight with Ana, Elsa accidentally lashes out with her powers in front of all of Aryendale causing Elsa to run away leaving an eternal winter behind. So Ana sets off on a epic adventure to bring back her sister and summer...

The film includes the amazing Demi Lovato song 'Let It Go' sung by Indina Menzel who is the voice of Elsa & is very good at it to. I first saw Indina Menzel in the Disney film 'Enchanted' in which she played 'Nancy'. Ana's character however is voiced by Kristen Bell who sings rather alot of songs in Frozen.

The best thing about this movie is the fact it is a Disney Film as who doesnt love Disney Films?
I mean they are just so good at making films, they get better and better.

This film may last two hours+ but it is definitely not two hours+ wasted. Disney are also bringing out a new film called 'Maleficent'  which is about sleeping beauty & the evil witch who sent her into her deep sleep, it also stars Angelina Jolie. 'Maleficent' is coming to my cinema this month so I will be straight there to watch it & I hope you will to.

Review | The Fault In Our Stars

For my first I have decided to do a review on the book "The Fault In Our Stars" By John Green.

I have just recently finished it, the reason I bought it is because all my friends at school had read it & they all said "It's so good" "It's so sad" "So emotional" so at first I was adamant about reading it but then I received it as a present for Christmas. So I decided to read it & the result is that now i own four John Green books.

I really enjoyed reading this book, I am not going to explain what happens because some of you may not have read it (but of course those people will go and read it after reading this)so i suggest you go & buy it ASAP, its available in most bookstores:

  • Whsmith
  • Waterstones
& you can also find it cheap on amazon.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Fault-Stars-John-Green/dp/0141345659/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399579619&sr=8-1&keywords=the+fault+in+our+stars

But it is just basically about cancer patients, two of which fall in love but they both have terminal cancer & it just shows you the way people with terminal illnesses think & what its like to live their life. I like it because it so good that I had to sometimes read lines/paragraphs twice because its just so incredible!

The film is being released this month & the trailer can be found on Youtube.
But I recommend reading the book before watching the film, but if you watch the film then read the book then I recommend not going to see the film with someone who has read the book & ruins it for you by telling you what happens before you've even watched it!

So overall I say read it then watch the film & I promise you wont be disappointed as John Green is one of the best authors that I know.
